A basic food the rich south tables is usually " with bacon or ham this  wonderful green; down gekocht" , sometimes automatically and sometimes  with an assortment of other Greens. Also madly or cut up and add,  Southern inspired soups are to be chopped, like ham or Black eyed pea  soup. Much Kohl plans, because even a poor load of these Greens cooks on  only a few portions.  Collards are closely related to Kohl. Collard stacks and sheets are hard  and best cooked eaten. Tear the sheets of the handles and cut them with  the hand before sow animals them or one can them into soups or a pots.  For one summer four weeks before the last frost date sow harvest.
